Memorial Day Tournament Team
This is a Tournament Team selected solely to play the Memorial Day Tournament each year outside of the regular season. This is an opportunity for players and parents alike to experience the travel hockey environment and for coaches to further evaluate players for the regular season.
Ages
The Ice Hawks Club consists of teams from 8U up to 18U and all age groups in between with skill levels AA/A/BB/B.
When
Tryouts generally occur in early April with practices beginning in late April through the Tournament towards the end of May.
Where
All practices are at Ice In Paradise located at 6985 Santa Felicia Dr. Goleta, CA 93117 with the tournament location TBD each year. The Ice Hawks generally stay as a program at the same hotel.
Practices
Each team practices 1-2 times per week for at least 60 minutes for a total of 4+ practices leading up to the tournament.
Games
Each team plays at least 4 games plus potential playoff games generally from Friday to Monday over the holiday weekend. Multiple games in a day are possible.
